Welcome to my brand new web space.
I've been having ideas about publishing my own web site for quite some time now, but it took some time for these ideas to take the form that you can see today.
There's no point publishing something that is of interest to no one but myself. I hope therefore that I can present you with some interesting content. Of course, I would only venture into spaces that I've experienced myself.
The range of subjects that I've been exposed to (and hopefully learned something about) is quite large. Be prepared to discover a great variety of topics on this site. The one common theme that links them all is a constant fascination about the world, about those remarkable creatures that we call humans, about how their thinking and acting impacts on this world, for the good or for the worse.
Zhang Qian
Zhang Qian was a chinese officer of the Imperial guard during the Han dynasty, who traveled west along the silk road in 138 BCE, to seek allies for the Chinese war against the Xiung-Nu.
Xuanzang
Xuanzand was a Chinese monk who travelled west along the silk road in 627 CE to find the roots of buddhism in India

Of course all beginnings are tough, so if you live in the Gent area, and you have some trees that need to be pruned, or if you need a tree to be taken out, or if you consider planting some new trees, why don't you get in touch with him.
